Vero

Your week, on one calm list.

Vero is a simple to-do list for your Mac. Unfinished items carry over by themselves, priorities sit at the top, and on Friday it shows you what you got done.

A week with Vero

That’s the whole guide. There isn’t much more to it.

Monday

Add what’s on your plate

Last week’s unfinished items are already there, so there’s nothing to copy over. To add more, press N (or click the box at the top), type, and press Return.

Three symbols do the rest, and Vero shows what it understood before you add.

Every day

Keep things moving

Click an item, then press a letter:

  • I in progress
  • B blocked
  • X done

Pinned items stay on top, and anything due in the next two days moves up under them. Done items stay in view until the week ends, then go to history.

Before a meeting

Find what you need

Click a tag in the sidebar to see only those items, and click it again to see everything.

Press / to search. Search covers notes and past weeks too, so nothing you finished is ever lost.

When a regular job comes up

Use a checklist

Save the steps of something you do often as a template. Each time it comes round, choose Use template and give it a name. It gets its own page in the sidebar, with progress as you tick steps off.

Friday

See your week

Open Weekly summary (or press 2) for what you finished, what’s in progress, what’s blocked and what’s new, grouped by tag.

Copy as Markdown puts it on the clipboard, ready for your notes or an AI assistant.
